Research Findings Evaluation of NEEM GUARD( A herbal preparation) as a versatile healer This was an open clinical trial conducted in the OPD clinic. Patients of both the sexes were included after proper diagnosis and physical examination. Forty-nine females and thirty-one males agreed for this trial. However 7 patients dropped out during the course of study. Patients were of different occupations, for example, housewives, students, businesspersons, and professionals. Their age ranged from 7 to 53 years. The trial continued for 9 months. During the trial each patient took medication for 3 months. Fortnightly study was done to assess the response. Each tablet contains Neem (Azadirachta indica) –350mg,Giloy(Tinospora cordifolia) -75mg and Trifala (Phyllanthus emblica, Terminalia belerica,Terminalia chebula) – 75mg. Dosage: Two capsules daily with water early in the morning.
