Amla (Emblica)
Fresh fruit is
refrigerant, diuretic and laxative. Green fruit is
exceedingly acidic. Dried fruit is sour and astringent.
Flowers are cooling and aperrient. Bark is astringent. The
green fruits stimulate appetite. Dried
fruit
is useful in hemorrhage, diarrhea and dysentery; with iron it
is a valuable remedy in anemia, jaundice and dyspepsia. The
fresh fruit contains very high percentage of vitamin ‘C’ and
is effective in infection of the lungs and throat, chronic
bronchitis, whooping cough and asthma, and of special value in
vitamin ‘C’ deficiency diseases. Recent clinical studies
have shown that Amalaki Churna is effective in gastritis
syndrome.
By means of paper chromatographic study, the air dried fruits
(Amla) have been found to contain some 13 separable tannins in
addition to 3 to 4 colloidal complexes.
Banshlochan (Bamboomanna)

It contains Silica 90% or Silicum as hydrate of silicic acid,
peroxide of iron, potash, lime, aluminia, vegetable matter,
“choline betain, nuclease, urease, proteolytic enzyme,
diastatic and emulsifying enzyme, cyanogenetic glucoside.
It is useful in fever, cough, consumption, debilitating
diseases and in ashtma
Keshar (Saffron)
Medicinally
it is used in small doses in fever, melanchlia, enlargement of
the liver, in spasmodic cough and asthma, and in catarrhal
aeffections of children.It is given in anaemia, chlorosis and
seminal debility; as a stimulant and aphrodisiac.
Abhraka Bhasma (Oxide of Mica)
Mica is rock forming mineral.It is a silicate of aluminium
together with alkalies and basic hydrogen and it contains 4 to
6% water, which exists as basic hydrogen or as hydroxyl
replacing fluorine.
Abhraka Bhasma is given in anaemia, jaundice, chronic
diarrhoea and dysentery, gastric ulcer, nervous debility,
chronic fever, enlarged apleen, urinary diseases impotency and
sexual debility is used in dyspepsia to improve digestion.It
is useful in ashtma, hepatic fever and cachexia due to logn
continued discharges from fistua and abscesses. It is
prescribed also in gonorrhoea and leucorrhoea.
It is said to stimulate metabolic activity
in tissue cell generally, and used as aphrodisiac and
restorative, Generally the action of the drug is better when
given with honey and pippali.As an astiringent it is mostly
used in diarrhoea of nervous origin.As an alternative its use
is recommended in enlargement of gland.
Safed Musli (Chlorophytum Borivilianum)
It is a useful medicinal crop with unique medicinal properties
having extensive usage in Ayurvedic, Unani and Allopathic
preparations. A Herbal Viagra, it has no side effects and
dependency whatsoever.

It is cardiac & general tonic, carminative & appetizer agent.
It is known to help in general debility, cardiac disorders,
anorexia & flatulence.
Satawari (Asparagus racemosus)
Satawari is effective in a number of other
systems of the body and is therefore of use to both men and
women. This cooling and bitter herb is also known for it's
anti-inflammatory qualities and may be used in infections such
as cystitis and dysentery. Satawari's mild diuretic action
addresses the need in bladder infections, an antacid and
demulcent. Satawari is effective in ulcers and hyperacidity
and its cooling action works on chronic fevers, rheumatism,
inflamed membranes of the lungs, Stomach, Kidneys and Sexual
organs. It also used as a nervine tonic.
White Sandal Wood (Santalum album)
Wood is bitter cooling, sedative and astringent.Oil is
astringent and disinfectant to the mucous membrane of the
genito-urinary and bronchial tracts; also diuretic,
expectorant and stimulant.
Nagkeshar (Mesua ferrea)
Dried
blossoms, root and bark are bitter, aromatic and sudorific;
bark is mildly astringent, unripe fruits and aromatic, acrid
and purgative.
