What is Goodcare
COLD SOOTHE TEA ?
When excessive phlegm forms
it causes congestion in the upper respiratory tract, making you feel
breathless. Your body tries to expel coughing. This can be very
distressing.
Gooodcare Cold Soothe tea is
made from selected herbs like Tulsi, Elaichi, Tejpata...acclaimed by
Ayurveda for their beneficial effects to combat cough and common cold.
An idel brew, it works as an expectorant and soothes cold, cough and
bronchial troubles. It is safe & highly effective ayurvedic remedy.

Active Ingrediants :
Bari elaichi (large cardamom),
Nirgundi (chaste tree), Sonth (dry ginger), Marich (Black pepper),
Tejpata (folia malabathye), Tusli (holi basil) etc.
Pharmacological action of some active ingredients :
Black Pepper :
It is commonly used as gargle for sore throat. Very effective in
fever also.
Badi Elaichi :
Medicinally,
the seeds are credited with stimulant, stomachic,
astringent properties and are prescribed
for the treatment of respiratory disorders like common cold
& cough, bronchitis, indigestion, upper respiratory infections and vomiting.
Nirgundi:
The root is
bitter, aphrodisiac, diuretic, and is used to relieve headaches,
sinusitis,
rheumatism and diseases of the nervous system. Also used to reduce
inflammations.
Sonth :
Dry Ginger chiefly used as an effective remedy for common cold. It
also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Tejpata :
Commonly used as a remedy for cough, common cold & sore throat.
Tulsi :
Used to combat cough, cold & sinusitis. Synergistic effect
obtained when used along with ginger and black pepper.

Two ways of making this teaAdd one teaspoonful of COLD SOOTHE TEA along with
your usual tea to make an ideal brew !
Grandma's Recipe:
Bring pure water to a full boil. Place 1/2 to one
teaspoonful of COLD SOOTHE TEA per cup in a teapot. Infuse
for 5-10 minutes. Strain and enjoy. Take 1-3 cups a day.
For maximum effect, sip slowly, inhaling the vapour for
relief. You can also use this tea to gargle.
